Christopher Walken reads Lady Gaga's Pokerface

You know, I just don't get the attraction to Lady Gaga and that song. I think it sucks. It's sad where music has gone.

  2. To me, it's sad where comedy has gone. I don't really see how this was funny other than his haircut but the audience loved it.

    ReplyDelete
  3. OMFG that was epic.
    I was dying laughing.
Christopher Walken is a god. lol

    ReplyDelete
  4. DG:

Yeah, I didn't find it all that hilarious either. They were remembering his Saturday Night Live days, so if you saw him doing that character, it might have been funnier.

    ReplyDelete
  5. But his haircut is funny, you are right.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I never really watched SNL. He was a regular on there?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Spurs,

My man, are you dead inside?
How can you not find Christopher Walken not funny?
He could eat a ham sandwich and be hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Walken is also a great actor. His performances in "The Deer Hunter" and "The King of New York" were great. He was also good in "True Romance".

    ReplyDelete
  9. I don't know anonymous, I just didn't find it all that hilarious. Maybe because I don't think much of Gaga.

Oh, and yes, I'm dead inside.

    ReplyDelete
  10. CBT,

I heard the "King of New York" was bad ass.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I just read Avery's story on the last post. He's gotten pretty loose since he moved in with Drew.

    ReplyDelete
  12. He has. I thought that was really funny.

    ReplyDelete
  13. It is Spurs. Lawrence Fishburne was really good, too. You really should see "The Deer Hunter". Epic flick. "Pulp Fiction" is on IFC right now, it's also one of the few movies I own.

    ReplyDelete
  14. King of New York is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Drew will have Avery hawking used cell phones shortly.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah, I still can't believe I haven't seen The Deer Hunter.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Seems like Avery would be a good salesman.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I like Christopher Walken. I just didn't get what was funny. I tried to watch it more than once to see if I missed something because I just don't get it. Plus I already knew the lyrics of the song and all he did was read them. What is funny about that?

Spurs, you should do a video of reading song lyrics.

    ReplyDelete
  19. This country has gone effing nuts.
    People shooting up people everywhere.
    Jesus.

    ReplyDelete
  20. There's an idea DG. Make it 3 bombed out videos in a row. Maybe I'll do it though, and you'll steal the post from me, and write it up like you are crafty.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I've never heard Lady Gaga sing. I imagine it would be like Avery described RQ's orgasms.

    ReplyDelete
  22. DG, you and Spurs are dead inside.
    You truly belong together. lol

    ReplyDelete
  23. Anonymous, you referring to the Orlando shooting?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Spurs: Read the lyrics to something by Cake. Myabe you can pull off deadpan.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well, DG killed my spirit with her so sharp insults, anonymous.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Both shootings and the myriad of other shootings around the country, plus the dude in Ohio killing the women and leaving the bodies to rot in his house and the multiple child abductions and killings.
    WTF is going on?

    ReplyDelete
  27. It's funny but at the same time sad as you reflect on the talentless hacks that lead the music industry.

    ReplyDelete
  28. "Anonymous said...

This country has gone effing nuts.
    People shooting up people everywhere.
    Jesus."

Shootings like the one in Orlando will increase until the economy gets better. People lose their jobs and hope and blame the last employer they had. That's the great thing about working on commission, no matter how bad the economy, someone will give you a job and a product to sell. What happens after that is totally up to you.

    ReplyDelete
  29. EV:

There are plenty of talentless hacks, that's for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  30. CBT,

That's a good point about working on commission.

    ReplyDelete

"Both shootings and the myriad of other shootings around the country, plus the dude in Ohio killing the women and leaving the bodies to rot in his house and the multiple child abductions and killings.
    WTF is going on?"

One thing is more access to media. Shit like the child abductions and killings aren't any more common than they were decades ago, they just make sensational stories and fuel the careers of shrill bitches like Nancy Grace.

What disturbs me most is the Fort Hood shootings. That shit never happened at bases in the US before. I think it's caused by the accumulated stress of multiple deployments to war zones. While this is going to be blamed on the guy being Muslim the reality is Psychaitrists are never the most stable people anyway. Counseling fucked up combat veterans caused the shooter to absorb their PTSD and he went apeshit.

    ReplyDelete
  32. CBT,

Nothing like this has ever happened, that is true. But it was bound to happen eventually just like 9/11 was going to happen at some point too. Honestly, I'm surprised it didn't happen earlier.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I forgot Walken was in Pulp Fiction, too. He's on right now talking about carrying a watch in his ass for 7 years.

    ReplyDelete
  34. So DG, do think Hasan was a terrorist or just a guy who snapped from stress and fear?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I used to always get John Voight and Walken mixed up. Am I the only one? I think it's because they seem to play odd similar parts in movies.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think you're the only one. Voight was really good in "Coming Home".

    ReplyDelete
  37. I think he was a guy that just snapped. I'm sure all the criticism from the muslim community didn't help. That is if that is true what I read about him earlier.

    ReplyDelete
  38. He was also criticized (or made fun of) by the people he was around.

    ReplyDelete
  39. That's what I think, too, DG.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I also mix up Meg Ryan and Michelle Pheiffer. I think I'm the only one that does that too.

    ReplyDelete
  41. That is just a given spurs. It seems like most people who just snap usually are being criticized by their peers. Makes me second guess making fun of you all the time. Please don't snap.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Spurs, nobody makes fun of a Major on an Army base, without consequences, anyway, unless they outrank him and I don't see that happening. I think that's bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Damn DG, you beat me to it. I was going to write, "You better quit making fun of me, or I'll show up where you live, and light you up."

    Or something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I get Joan Rivers and Phyllis Diller mixed up.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm kidding. The two I really do get mixed up is Uma Thurman and Gweneth Paltrow.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I had to look up who who Phyllis Diller was. I can see how you can mix her up. However, I think Joan has had alot more face lifts. If you look close at her face you can see where her belly button originally was.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Let's see: Criticized by his peers, lives in his momma's basement, spends an inordinate amount of time on the internet, disassociated from humans and a diet of tacos and PB and J's...I don't think Spurs is going to snap and become a mass killer but he does have the earmarks of the serial variety. Are there any missing prostitutes in San Antonio?

    ReplyDelete
  48. I don't think they look anything alike. Maybe a long time ago but I think Gyneth Paltrow has aged muched better. But Uma also was married to Ethan Hawke that aged faster than ever. They must have both really stressed each other out.

    ReplyDelete
  49. As much as I hate to say it the US govt got 13 people killed yesterday.

The man said he did not want to go overseas and wanted out of the military. He even got an attorney and offered to pay back the cost of tuition for medical school. They even were watching him because of his view and writings.

If they had simply released him, this could all have been avoided.

    ReplyDelete
  50. wheres elfie shouldn't she be neglecting her hoodlums to come whore herself around on here by now? im concerned her last john may have done her in

    ReplyDelete
  51. to clarify: the comment about joan rivers reminded me of elfie

    ReplyDelete
  52. The Joan Rivers comment made me think of RQ. I suspect her vag is where her belly button ought to be by now.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Anonymous, the Army can't let anyone out to avoid deployment to a combat zone, regardless of the circumstances, or no one would go.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Anonymous:

    "Hoodlums?"

I've always gotten a kick out of that word.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I'm sure spurs is like the BTK killer. I can picture him in the basement cutting out words from magazines to send to the press.

    ReplyDelete
  56. CBT,

Well then there will be more incidents like this, sadly.
Was it worth almost 50 people dying?

    ReplyDelete
  57. That was good too DG. I always get you and a common bully confused.

    ReplyDelete
  58. DG: They caught the BTK. Maybe once he starts ripping San Antonio hookers, he'll leave PB and J crusts at the crime scenes and they'll name the Skippy Killer.

    ReplyDelete
  59. *name him the Skippy Killer*

    Or better yet, Peter Pan.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I watched the movie 'stop loss'. It's messed up what they do sometimes. Also, Ryan Phillipe was gorgeous in that movie. I love him.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Anonymous: No it wasn't worth it. The war in Iraq wasn't worth the lives of 4000 plus American soldiers either.

By the way, it was 13 dead in Fort Hood. The Virginia Tech killer holds the record at 30 something.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Funny thing was he attended Virginia Tech for his undergrad.

He killed 13 and wounded 30 so if all had died the death toll would have been 43.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I think the shooting at that amish school was the worst I've ever heard about. I watched a special on that not long ago.

    ReplyDelete
  64. You are like a mathematician Anonymous.

    ReplyDelete
  65. The Amish school was effed up.
The difference is the Ft. Hood shootings could have been avoided unlike most of these other ones.

    ReplyDelete
  66. You know, the Seattle area is famous for breeding serial killers (Ted Bundy, The Green River Killer for example). I wonder if male prostitutes up there have stopped going missing since RQ moved to Arizona?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Just making my point Spurs, just making my point. lol

    ReplyDelete
  68. ROFL CBT, that is just wrong. (dialing the police in Seattle)..

    ReplyDelete
  69. I was in Lancaster not long after the Amish school thing. The Amish were pretty skittish for awhile.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I agree, it could've been avoided. But at the same time it never would've been predicted that someone would do something like this. If you really want out of the military, isn't it possible even if you end up with a dishonorable discharge?

    ReplyDelete
  71. And I saw that about Hasan going to Virginia Tech. That raised an eyebrow.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Thanks Anonymous. You might also check with the Arizona State Police to see if any have gone missing there since she moved. I noticed Avery kept calling her "Hannah Lecter".

    ReplyDelete
  73. It's funny how sometimes high intelligence and insanity are so closely related. It's a good thing spurs isn't so smart or he would already have started his killing spree.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I didn't know he offered to pay the tuition Anonymous.

    ReplyDelete
  75. What is this? Rip on spurs fan night?

    ReplyDelete
  76. That is what his aunt said when they interviewed her. Actually, I think most of what I read in his defense came from her.

    ReplyDelete
  77. No different than any other night. So you shut up. You like the abuse.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Anonymous: Part of being a "dumbshit redneck military guy" is accepting the fact the possibilty of getting killed is in the job description. Fort Hood is the base for the4th Armored Division who are getting ready for they're 3rd or 4th deployment to Iraq. Dead soldiers are nothing new to these guys, regaedless of where.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I read several reports where he offered to pay the tuition back and he even had an attorney to try to get out of being in the military.

He clearly stated that he did not want to fight fellow Muslims so they could have assigned him elsewhere rather than have this happen.

    ReplyDelete
  80. CBT, well a little brains and commonsense would have saved a lot of lives.
I am sorry but having my safety in the hands of guys like that that can't reason or use logic is scary.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I watched an episode of True Life on mtv where they followed people in the military around. This one guy had just gotten back from his 2nd tour and you can tell was already losing his mind. Then he found out he had to go back a 3rd time. It was really sad to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I can't feel sorry for this fort hood guy. Fuck him. He didn't have to take out all these other people because of his dislike for the military. I read one girl was even pregnant. So that is a total of 14 people he killed.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I didn't see where one girl was pregnant. That's awful.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Ok Anonymous, let me see if I can make you understand. The Army cannot afford to be flexible about letting people out even if they offer to pay back whatever. It would set the wrong precedent. Over 50% of the troops headed for Iraq or Afganistan would use that one case to get out of going. Yeah, this case got 13 people killed, that's just a bad patrol overseas.

    ReplyDelete
  85. DG,

It is not about feeling sorry for the guy, no one is. It is about assigning blame to the ones that persisted he stay in the military against his will, causing him to snap and kill 14 people as you say. Innocent people died because a few people refused to use their brains and think.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Anonymous: They have logic and reason but it's different from that of a civilian. Do you have any idea what it takes to give an order that you know is going to result in a percentage of the troops under your command getting killed and all you can do is minimize that percentage? Those "dumbshit redneck military guys" do. It's not fucking easy.

    ReplyDelete
  87. CBT,

Believe me I understand the numbers game.
Basically in the military's mind these are just acceptable casualties.

    ReplyDelete
  88. What is the percentage of people who use the military for a way to pay for school compared to the ones who actually join to actually fight?

I bet all the people who use it for a way to pay for school would like to get out of going to Iraq too but they can't. That is part of their contract they agreed to.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thank you DG. I got kinda wound up about the criticism of Army officers and wasn't getting the point across.

    ReplyDelete
  90. So then using that logic, everyone should be fine with the murders this man committed because as far as I can tell all you guys would have made him stay and the same outcome would have happened.

    ReplyDelete
  91. "Anonymous said...

    CBT,

Believe me I understand the numbers game.
Basically in the military's mind these are just acceptable casualties."

Do you understand what it's like to have a wounded soldier bleed to death while you carry him to a Medevac? I do.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Did anyone see Obama's reaction to this event?

    ReplyDelete
  93. I couldn't make myself believe in "acceptable casualties" after I'd seen casualties in real life, except for the other guys.

    ReplyDelete
  94. CBT,

I respect your past situations in the military but they have nothing to do with what happened with this man.

This was a simple decision. He voiced his desire to not go and fight fellow Muslims. He offered to pay back the money. He hired an attorney and on top of that he was being investigated for questionable and radical points of views. Not that hard a decision to make.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Well, anon using your logic we should just spend billions on the education of people who joined the military and then when the work got hard, let all of them walk.

I may join the military under that condition. Why pay off student loans when I could've just walked away from the military after years of paying for me and supporting me?

    ReplyDelete
  96. "Anonymous said...
So then using that logic, everyone should be fine with the murders this man committed because as far as I can tell all you guys would have made him stay and the same outcome would have happened."

No. He should have been screened better and released from duty for lack of suitability a long time ago, not because he wanted out now. The sad fact is that because of the war, the Army is woefully short of qualified personel.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Also, I don't blame the military for the deaths of all these people. I blame him. He should've just went AWOL if he was so unhappy. Instead, he decides to kill a bunch of people.

So now I should blame the military for this?

    ReplyDelete
  98. DG,

Your point might hold more weight if he did not offer to pay back the money, which he did.

I was watching Lock and Load the other day and they showed this one missile that the military blows $80,000 a piece on, so pardon me if I am not that sympathetic to their contracts and money excuses.

    ReplyDelete
  99. "...he was being investigated for questionable and radical points of views."

That should have gotten him removed from duty, true, but not because he offered to pay back the tuition.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Anonymous I agree that money isn't the issue.

    ReplyDelete
  101. The problem here was that the guy wasn't so much a military man as he was a doctor and the Medical Corps is not screened and indoctrinated like officers who are expected to lead soldiers into combat. He was weak.

    ReplyDelete
  102. DG,

If that was your brother or your sister or some family member or friend you really cared about that was killed and you know all the facts and particulars about these shootings that we do now, how would you feel about the military's decisions and how they handled this situation?

    ReplyDelete
  103. CBT,

You are most likely correct that he was weak.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Anonymous, for all my defense of the Army, I understand what you just asked DG. I still have guilt and nightmares over the death a fine young man I'd only known less than 4 months, 27 years after the fact.

    ReplyDelete
  105. CBT,

exactly, there are hypotheticals and then there is real life situations.
We can all speak on hypotheticals but only when it is a real and personal issue then out true feelings and opinions come out.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I was not a big fan of Pokerface, but Paparazzi is the shiz and you all know it.

I also enjoy (Eh, Eh) {like the Canadians say} Nothing else I can Say, and Summerboy. Lady Gaga is a genius.

[im your biggest fan ill follow you until you love me, papa, paparazzi, baby theres not other superstar, you know that ill be, your papa, paparazzi]

    ReplyDelete
  107. Spurs you need to put the video of that psycho female soccer player up.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Kinkyb!tch:

What's up? Nice to see you around.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Anonymous:

Yeah, I heard about that earlier. I'll put it up now.

    ReplyDelete
  110. There are alot of murderers out there that once they committed the murder everyone wants to look back and then point out the signs. Truth is, you cannot predict the future. If it was a friend or family member of mine, I would understand there are sick people out there no matter where you go. It his fault no matter what.

What if they let him out of the military and instead bombed some building later and killed more people? That could've happened too. But nobody knows the future or what it may have held. I blaming him based on facts and not predictions.

    ReplyDelete
  111. DG:

Well, if I end up going off, be sure to contact the media and let them know you had a big part in that happening.

I hope you end up feeling guilty.

    ReplyDelete
  112. No, I will write a book, end up on Oprah, and then a movie based on my life will end up on Lifetime.

However, it's ok if everyone wants to blame me for your craziness. Everyone always needs someone to blame.

    ReplyDelete
  113. You wouldn't be able to break this stray cat that runs around near my place, so don't worry about it.

Sorry to shatter your dreams of a book deal, being on Oprah, and a movie on that shit channel Lifetime.

Hey, you hear that Oprah is taking her tired act to cable?

    ReplyDelete
  114. No. I don't watch oprah ever. I've always thought her show was boring. But I'm going to go watch the movie 'Orpan' now. This is the one based on RQ's life from when her family wrote in.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I do think it's cool you remember her family writing in though.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I know, that is your favorite post until I took it over with the greatest post of all time.

And yes, I did mean Orphan. You are so smart that you figured that out!

    ReplyDelete
  117. I am very smart, thanks.

But just to correct you again, I thought when her family wrote in with a picture of their manor was a rather good one.

You really think that Rerun post was the greatest thing ever, don't you?

    ReplyDelete
  118. Yes, because mine was a true story. That really wasn't her family that wrote in.

    ReplyDelete
  119. What? Who cares? It was truly a work of art.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Mine was based on research and evidence.

Comparing your post to my post is like comparing The First 48 to McGuyver.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Oh yeah, your comparison was ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I never really watched that show either. The only parts I've actually have seen of it were when Conan O'Brien would make fun of it on his show.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Well, there was plenty of ammo to crack on that show, that's for sure.

You and MacGyver have plenty in commmon.

    ReplyDelete
  124. MACGuyver was based on over the top and unrealistic situations just like your post. The First 48 is about real murder and real searching for evidence to prove the person guilty.

So exactly what is ridiculous other you.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Other you?

    You mean other THAN you?

    ReplyDelete
  126. But to answer you "question" (I put that in quotes because there was no question mark), there is nothing ridiculous about me.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I already corrected you.

    Once again, no problem.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Is that all you got tonight, spurs? Just correcting spelling and grammar?

    WEAK

    ReplyDelete
  129. Did like the WEAK throw in though.

    ReplyDelete
  130. You know I am right. Just admit it.

    ReplyDelete
  131. About me correcting your spelling and grammar?

    I did admit that.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I had to best post of all time.

    ReplyDelete
  133. you mean *the* best post of all time?

    ReplyDelete
  134. Yes, it was pretty good, I admit that. I wrote that on the post though.

    ReplyDelete
  135. yes I did. I'm keeping you preoccupied with spelling and grammar mistakes just so you have something to comment about since you really can't 'crush' me tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Pretty good? It was the best.

    ReplyDelete
  137. You really want me to write that it was the "best", don't you?

    ReplyDelete
  138. You know it was. You just don't want to admit that to me. It's ok. I already know how WEAK you are.

I'm out. Go try and top my post while I'm gone.

    ReplyDelete
  139. How long are you going to bask in the "glory" of that post?

But it was nice having you around tonight.

    I'm nice, I know.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I will bask in the glory until you top that post. Just think of it as motivation to post something better than christopher walken reading song lyrics.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Listen smartass, I didn't think it was funny. Because I'm dead inside. But someone sent it to me, I thought some people might find it funny, so I posted it.

    ReplyDelete
