Two 20-year-old Gilbert men were arrested in an undercover operation after an advertisement was posted on Craigslist to trade marijuana for an Apple iPad, officials said.
In the posting, Jacob Walker reportedly wanted to trade his Apple iPod Touch and what he called "a quarter of dank blue dream straight outta Cali" for an Apple iPad, Gilbert police spokesman Sgt. Mark Marino said.
Police were notified about the advertisement by a citizen on the department tip line, Marino said. Detectives replied to the posting and set up a meeting with Walker at Val Vista Drive and Warner Road around 3 p.m.
According to Marino, Walker arrived at the scene with Joseph Velarde and gave the marijuana to an undercover detective.
Velarde also had narcotics in his possession, police said.
Walker and Velarde were arrested in connection with the conspiracy to sell marijuana.
I'm surprised the FBI and DEA weren't called in on that one.
It was great, I had a really good time. Yesterday FMB caught a foul ball and was on T.V. doing it. We drank a lot then couldn't figure out how to get back to the hotel on the light rail haha! Our seats were really good, directly next to the visiting dugout yesterday and directly above it today. I went to Ikea but got annoyed at how you have to walk in circles and never can get the heck out of the place. (x2)

ReplyDeleteYeah it was really cool, he didn't even bring a glove. Today we both woke up really hung over and even though we were the only people on our floor of the hotel someone was repeatedly opening and shutting a door near us. Come to find out the room 2 doors down is haunted.

I kicked them out because I needed a place to live when I moved back here. I let them move back in because I wanted to rent the place out again and they were good renters. My sister and I own that house together, we were renting it to those folks for $500 a month and splittin' the money.
When the radio trade runs out on where I'm living now, I can keep renting the cabin for $450 a month, including utilities and satellite. My part of what I have the house rented out for will pay most of that.
